Pay - $110,000 to $125,000

Role Description

The Sr Reliability Engineer (Mechanical) sits on the maintenance and reliability management team.

Key Duties of the role:

  • Drive improvement of plant reliability strategy

  • Develop, design , and install predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.

  • Lead and implement continuous improvement to optimize the company’s physical assets, maintenance, and reliability processes.

  • Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.

  • Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.

  • Champion the defect elimination process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Equivalent Experience

  • 4+ years of experience within manufacturing environments/facilities

  • Strong understanding how manufacturing and processing equipment works; the breakdown of the equipment and its mechanics to troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance.

  • Must have experience and technical capability around industrial machinery such as seals, piping, pumps, fans, blowers and material handling equipment

  • Experience in any of the following industries: food manufacturing, oil, gas, mining, chemical manufacturing, medical, automotive, aerospace and military background

  • SAP experience

  • PREFERRED:

    • Knowledge and Experience with : Reliability tools, maintenance process management, predictive maintenance technologies, proactive maintenance model, or related preferred.

    • Experience in LEAN SIX SIGMA, 5S, or related is preferred

    • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), or Reliability Practitioner
